Division Director Of Community Employment

Department: Community Employment
Location: Danvers, MA

The Division Director of Community Employment will oversee and direct day to day operations of Community Employment Division. They will provide strategic support and leadership to division managers and DSP and ensure the highest level of quality customer service at all levels of service delivery. They will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, contractual obligations and policy development and implementation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees financial planning, budget development and monitoring for all programs falling within Community Employment. Explores and implements innovative program development and expansion. Identifies potential new funding sources.
  • Oversees staff development, continually assesses effectiveness of workforce, and ensures appropriate ratios are maintained. Assists in recruiting, training, and developing a highly motivated and effective team. Provides final approval on all hires and separations of employment within the Community Employment division.
  • Develops in-depth understanding and stays abreast of all agency policies, procedures and divisional standards. Supports Executive team and Senior Leadership team in the development, and consistent implementation across all levels of staff. Ensures all applicable state, federal and agency regulations, practices and policies are followed.
  • Develops and fosters outside relationships with industry professionals, partner, share best practices, collaborate and network.

Qualifications:

  • Masters in Psychology, Sociology, Rehabilitation, Human Services, or Non-profit management preferred.
    • Bachelor's required
  • Minimum of five years of experience working with diverse populations impacted by disabilities.
  • At least five years of leadership experience in programs or services supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excel.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Job Type and Physical Demands
Schedule: Full time, Mon-Fri, Onsite
Pay Range: $95,000 to $99,000 Per Year
Physical Demands: Requires someone to sit for extended periods of time, talk on the phone and enter information into the computer for at least 70% of their day. Infrequent light physical effort required.
