Northeast Arc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our residential team in Peabody, Lowell

Schedule: Awake- Thursday, Friday, Saturday 11:00 pm -9:00 am, - Part Time | 30 Hours per Week

We are currently hiring Direct Support Professionals to work within our group homes located throughout the North Shore. Direct support professionals help the individuals we serve live inclusive and independent lives in their homes and community. CPR, FA, and MAP Certification are a must!

About this Home: The ladies of Lowell St. are looking for someone who loves soap operas, knitting, and exploring their local community. Lowell St. is a home that supports 5 women who have a range of hobbies and interests. They love friendly competition and are often having challenges in the house of who can drink the most water or who can rack up the most minutes on the exercise bike. The right candidate will be someone who can support their individual needs and interests as well as aid in tasks that help them remain independent. The women love when they get a chance to meet and chat with new people. You will always feel welcome at Lowell St.

Compensation: $24.50 - $25.50 per hour
(Based on experience and certifications -CPR/FA/MAP)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and individualized supports to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Promote independence, community engagement, and meaningful life experiences
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and medication administration
• Support medical appointments and health-related needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure a safe, supportive home environment

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license required
MAP Certification required
FA/CPR certification preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, bend, push wheelchairs, and provide physical intervention as needed
